Blue Ridge Eye Associates of Rockbridge County is an independent optometry practice in Lexington, Virginia, built around thorough, kind, and personal care.
We combine comprehensive eye exams with a thoughtful optical experience – helping patients see clearly and find eyewear that fits comfortably, looks right, and feels like them.
Meet Dr. Petrie
Lindsay M. Petrie, O.D., F.A.A.O., earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, in 2009, graduating summa cum laude.
In 2013, she became a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. The F.A.A.O. designation recognizes optometrists who have met high standards of professional competence across a broad range of eye care.
Dr. Petrie’s approach is simple: thorough care, clear explanations, and kindness at every visit.
Her connection to BREA-RC began in 2008, when she completed an externship in Lexington under former owner Dr. Marc Hudson. In 2019, she returned to the practice with her husband, Dann Stupp – excited to serve the Rockbridge community and build something personal.
